USING GOOGLE EARTH IN CLASSROOMGoogle earth is a browser which creates images related to planets, stars, geographic information of the world, terrain, addresses etc. It creates a 3D visual representation useful for geography classes. It provides information on latitudes, longitudes and altitudes. A professor at Old Dominion University uses Google Earth to study the earth surface terrain using program KML. It is used as a geoscience tool for students to create digital maps, simulate tectonic motions. One school created a message in a bottle project and is kept on a plastiki boat created by David de Roths child and the journey of the bottle is monitored through Google Earth.
